The Board of Ada County Commissioners signed an agreement to sell the Barber Dam in East Boise ‘as is’ for $500,000 to Barber Pool Hydro LLC. The sale is contingent on the purchaser obtaining transfer of the license from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC).

Western Idaho Fair’s Advisory Board along with the Board of Ada County Commissioners announced that the 2020 Western Idaho Fair has been canceled. Western Idaho Fair will be continuing the 4-H and FFA youth exhibits, competitions and sales in 2020. This allows all youth participants in those programs to complete their projects and sell their animals as planned.
