Ada County Returns To STAGE 3 – effective June 23, 2020

500% Increase in COVID 19 cases prompts move

Nightclubs, bars and large venues must remain closed. Gatherings of more than 50 people are not allowed. In Ada County the City of Boise has a mandatory mask requirement in public. Please reference the City of Boise’s webpage for details.

A 14-day self-quarantine is encouraged, but not required, for people entering Idaho from another country or from an area outside Idaho with substantial community spread or case rates higher than Idaho. Residents need to be mindful of where they travel and take appropriate precautions.

“Our communities are tied together by more than a county line,” said Ada County Commissioner Diana Lachiondo. “We are tied together by a sense of personal responsibility and a desire for all of our friends and neighbors to flourish. We will continue to adhere to the guidelines set forth by public health experts at Central District Health.”
