Ada County FY 23 Budget
The Ada County FY 23 Budget will be formally adopted Tuesday August 16, 2022 during the Ada County Commissioner’s Open Business Meeting. This year’s budget does not raise property taxes and puts people and families first in a fiscally responsible manner.

Important Information for Boise River Floaters
This 4th of July weekend will likely be the busiest weekend in the history of Barber Park!
If you’re new to the area, or have never floated the river before, there are some critically important things to remember. First, float at your own risk. The Boise River is a natural fast moving waterway subject to sometime unpredictable currents and occasional branches.
Fireworks Prohibition in Effect for Certain Areas of Unincorporated Ada County
The Board of Ada County Commissioners (BOCC) has adopted a fireworks prohibition for certain unincorporated areas of the county. The resolution was approved by Board Chairman Rod Beck and Commissioner Kendra Kenyon with Commissioner Ryan Davidson voting against the prohibition.
Make A Difference in Local Government
The Board of Ada County Commissioners is seeking individuals interested in filling openings on the Ada County Planning and Zoning Commission. This is a volunteer position that carries a three (3) year term. Qualified applicants must live in Ada County throughout their term, and must have lived in Ada County for at least two (2) years. The positions will remain open until filled.

Juror Appreciation Week is May 9th through May 13th – A time to show appreciation for the jurors who have served on a grand jury or spent countless days in trial to provide justice in hundreds of cases tried in Ada County. Juror Appreciation Week is also an opportunity to express gratitude to those who did not serve but responded to their summonses.
