The Budget Explorer for the tentative FY23 Ada County Budget is now available to view online. This helpful tool allows you to see how property taxes are distributed, and how each dollar allocated for Ada County services will be spent during the upcoming fiscal year.
The Budget Explorer empowers citizens with information about how specifically their tax dollars are being used in ways that benefit the entire community – from public safety and the courts, to recreation and sanitation services. The process is critically important to our mission of transparency in government.
The FY23 Ada County Budget will be officially adopted by the Ada County Board of Commissioners during the Open Business Meeting Tuesday August 16th Prior to that the Ada County Clerk presents highlights from the FY23 budget on Tuesday July 26th beginning at 6:00 PM. The public is welcome and encouraged to attend the budget presentation in the first floor Public Hearing Room of the Ada County Courthouse, 200 W. Front Street, Boise, Idaho 83702. If you are not able to attend you can watch live on Ada County’s YouTube channel.
Following the presentation the public is invited to provide their input and/or questions.
