Ada County Mourns Deputy Tobin Bolter

It is with profound sadness that the Board of Ada County Commissioners, Chairman Rod Beck, Commissioner Ryan Davidson, and Commissioner Tom Dayley share their deep condolences with the entire Ada County community for the loss of one of our Ada County Deputies.

We send our love and support to Deputy Tobin Bolter’s family, Ada County Sheriff Matt Clifford and every law enforcement officer who protects our community each day.

Ada County employs approximately 2100 people, more than 800 of whom work for the Ada County Sheriff’s Office. We are all part of the same family and this young deputy’s needless and tragic death affects each and every one of us.

We will be flying the American flag at half mast until Deputy Bolter’s service.

– Ada County Board of Commissioners

Deputy Tobin Bolter’s memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 30th, 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa, Idaho. The indoor service is reserved for Deputy Bolter’s family, friends and law enforcement. The indoor service will be closed to the general public and media.

The community may observe the service in the Ford Idaho Center’s outdoor amphitheater. The service will be livestreamed via the Ada County Sheriff’s Office YouTube channel online and in the amphitheater.
