Be Safe at the Western Idaho Fair

The food, the rides, the animals, the concerts, the Pronto Pups! The 2021 Western Idaho Fair starts Friday August 20, 2021 and continues through August 29, 2021. With the support of the Ada County Board of Commissioners, EXPO Idaho has worked to ensure that you, and your friends and family have a safe and fun environment.

We care about the safety of fair-goers and the community. That’s why you’ll notice numerous mitigation measures that have been put in place at this year’s Fair – things like increased hand washing and sanitizing stations, as well as more open space and wider aisles inside Center Expo. Masks will be on hand for those who choose to wear them.

“We want individuals and families to enjoy the entertainment, rides, food, arts and crafts, and competitive exhibits,” said Ada County Commission Chair Rod Beck. “While we have worked hard to implement the best mitigation efforts possible, individuals get to decide the best course of action when it comes to attending big events like this. If you come this year, be safe and have fun.”

“We are pleased with the safety protocols the Western Idaho Fair has put into place to ensure that this year’s fair is safe and fun for everyone,” said Ada County Commissioner Kendra Kenyon. “However you and your family choose to enjoy this annual tradition we encourage you to do so safely.”

Western Idaho Fair is asking anyone who has symptoms of illness including fevers, coughs and flu-like symptoms to not attend or work at Western Idaho Fair. For more information about the tickets, the lineup, and what else to expect and enjoy Visit: The Western Idaho Fair
