Ada County Commissioners Ryan Davidson, Chairman Rod Beck and Commissioner Tom Dayley, joined Ada County Parks & Waterways Director Scott Koberg and our partners with the City of Boise June 29th to formally kick off the summer 2023 Float Season. Ada County was happy to host the event at our Barber Park facility off Eckert Road – the put-in location for floaters ready to enjoy this beautiful experience.
Ada County has been putting on the Float Season with our partners for decades. The success of the annual float season is due in part to the collaboration between Ada County, and the City of Boise. Each government entity manages a specific part of the event so it’s a joint project.
Ada County is proud to have worked collaboratively with our partners to create a helpful website where you can view an interactive map, check on current conditions, view an incredibly helpful Safety Checklist (especially if you’re new to the float) and learn how the parking & shuttle service works.
