West Nile Virus Update

Ada County mosquito traps tested positive as a West Nile virus pool at the following times and locations:

  • September 3rd: Near the intersection of Star Road and South Main Street, in Star.
  • September 3rd: Near the intersection of North Five Mile Road and West Nazareth Lane, in Boise.
  • September 3rd: Near the intersection of North Glenwood Street and West Marigold Street, in Garden City.
  • September 1st: South Bridgeway Place, in Eagle.
  • September 1st: West Crosby Drive, in Meridian.
  • August 28th: Intersection of E. Franklin Road and S. Locust Grove Road, in Meridian.
  • August 18th: Eagle Island State Park (prior test confirmed, no current WNV positive tests from this location).

Additional West Nile virus positive pools will be added to this post for the rest of this week (August 30th through September 5th).
