In honor of National Mosquito Control Awareness Week (June 20-26), the Ada County Mosquito Abatement district is giving away family tickets for two adults and two children to Zoo Boise to one lucky winner from each age group. Visit our Education Trailer on Tuesday June 22nd, 2021 at Settler’s Park in Meridian, or on Thursday June 24th, 2021 at Julia Davis Park in Boise, from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM. There will be fun activities, handouts, and contests.
The Age Groups:
• Age Group 1: 7-years and under
• Age Group 2: 8 to 12-years old
To Enter:
1. Print out the image linked below (for the correct age group).
2. Fill out your name and age.
3. Draw your map (Age Group 2) or color your picture (Age Group 1)!
4. Identify sources of water that mosquitoes could breed in (both Age Groups).
5. Submit your completed contest submission.
How to Submit:
Visit the Education Trailer on Tuesday June 22nd, 2021 at Settler’s Park or on Thursday June 24th, 2021 at Julia Davis Park from 9:30 AM to 2:00 PM.

Have your parent/guardian email a scan or photo of your contest submission to [email protected] with the subject line, “Mosquito Contest 2021.” Include your name, age, address, and phone number.

Have your parent/guardian mail your contest submission to 975 E Pine Ave, Meridian, ID 83642.
The due date is July 2nd, 2021. All entrants must reside in Ada County. Winners will be randomly selected and announced on Wednesday, July 7th, 2021.
