The Ada County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatality crash which occurred on April 8, 2024 at about 6:45pm in the area of W. State St. and N. Knox Ave. in Star, Ada County, Idaho.
Preliminary information indicates that a 56-year-old male from Star was driving a motorcycle eastbound on State St. when he lost control, veered into the opposing lane of travel, and collided with a passenger car.
The driver of the motorcycle succumbed to his injuries at the scene. The occupants of the passenger car – a 66-year-old female driver and three juvenile occupants – were uninjured.
The crash is under investigation by ACSO Crash Reconstruction Unit detectives.
