The Ada County Sheriff’s Office does so much more than provide traditional law enforcement services to the public. We spend a lot of time partnering with members of the community — working together every day— to make Ada County a safe place to live, work, and play.
We work with neighborhood leaders to set up Neighborhood Watch programs.
We also set up patrol ride-alongs and run citizen tours of the Public Safety Building and Ada County Jail for those members of the public who want to learn more about law enforcement.
The Sheriff’s Youth Foundation provides funding to local non-profit groups geared toward helping at-risk youth. Many members of the command staff work with local charitable groups like Big Brothers, Big Sisters and the United Way to help make Ada County a better place to live.
