Deputies find 70+ bags of drugs and a stolen gun during warrant arrest

A 28-year-old Meridian man is being held in the Ada County Jail after deputies found dozens of bags of fentanyl, cocaine, and other drugs on him or in his car Monday morning.

Zachary Krishnek is charged with felony counts of possession of controlled substance with intent to deliver, grand theft, and other charges in connection with the incident.

ACTION Team deputies were looking for Krishnek, who had an outstanding arrest warrant for a drug delivery charge from June, when they located him outside a store on Overland Road around 11:30 a.m. Monday.

It was when deputies were arresting Krishnek they found a gun in his waistband and small bags of fentanyl and cocaine in his front pocket.

That led to a search of his car, where they found dozens more bags of drugs, including amphetamines and psilocybin mushrooms, and drug paraphernalia like baggies and scales.

Deputies arrested Krishnek and took him to jail, where he is being held on a $125,000 bond.
