Ada County Invites Feedback on FY20 Budget

(Boise, ID) – The Board of Ada County Commissioners will begin deliberations on the FY20 Ada County budget the week of Monday, June 17, 2019. Deliberations will take place in the Public Hearing Room on the first floor of the Ada County Courthouse, located at 200 West Front Street in Boise.

The Board of Ada County Commissioners welcomes public input in the budget process. The deliberations on Monday, June 17 will be open to public testimony, beginning at 10 a.m. Those who wish to speak will be allotted time in 3-minute increments. The public is encouraged to submit comments ahead of the deliberations by sending them to [email protected]. Feedback will be accepted through Tuesday, June 18, 2019.

The Board of Ada County Commissioners heard presentations from the seven elected offices and 11 departments of Ada County regarding their FY20 budget requests during the first week of June. The presentations are available to view on the Ada County Youtube Channel. Following the week of deliberations, Ada County Clerk Phil McGrane will present the tentative budget to the Ada County Board of County Commissioner and the public on July 22, 2019, at 6 p.m. The tentative budget will be adopted on July 30th and the final budget will be adopted on August 20, 2019.
