Eagle City Council, Board of Ada County Commissioners discuss visions for managing growth, funding, and transportation On Wednesday, May 29th the Eagle City Council hosted a workshop with the Board of Ada County Commissioners to talk about issues surrounding growth. The meeting was the first formal meeting of the full Council and Commission since December of 2013.
Mayor Stan Ridgeway and Commission Chair Kendra Kenyon organized the meeting to bring the two elected bodies together to talk about growth in Ada County. The intent of the meeting was to serve as a catalyst for increasing proactive dialogue within the region. The County and City staff shared each jurisdiction’s plans for schools, transportation, and the fiscal realities of growth, planned communities, and areas of city impact.
