Ada County Commissioners approve FY21 budget. The balanced budget is down $3.3 Million from 2020, and provides for critically important services for a growing community.
The categories are defined in the Idaho Back to School Framework, as approved by the State Board of Education in early July. The categories indicate what level of in-person learning and response is recommended for school districts in Ada, Boise, Elmore, and Valley Counties
The Fiscal Year 2021 proposed balanced budget for Ada County is set at $284,731,212. That is down $3.3 Million from FY 2020. The Board of Commissioners began the budget process with a firm commitment to providing as much relief to all taxpayers while not affecting critically important services for growing communities.
At the urging of all major hospitals in the area, and with input from public health experts, the Central District Health Board of Health voted to require face coverings be worn in public places throughout Ada County. The Order is effective immediately.
