Geocache

Help Ada County Celebrate its Sesquicentennial (150th Anniversary)!

In honor of Ada County’s Sesquicentennial (150th Anniversary) this year, we have hidden 5 geocaches in popular or historic locations throughout the county. Geocaching is a real-world, outdoor treasure hunting game using GPS-enabled devices.  Participants navigate to a specific set of GPS coordinates and then attempt to find the geocache (container) hidden at that location.  Caches are containers which hold special items and information for those who find them, as well as a log book to show who’s located the cache.

To participate in this fun outdoor experience, visit: www.geocaching.com, or download any geocaching mobile phone application and search for the following geocodes:

GC52H31 – Hubbard Reservoir
GC52H3Y – Seaman’s Gulch Trail
GC52H81 – Barber Park
GC52H89 – Oregon Trailhead
GC52H8G – Victory Wetlands
