On 9/6/2024 at about 9:12pm, Kuna Police deputies responded to assist the Meridian Police Department with a hit and run crash. Deputies located the suspect vehicle, a gray Ford F150 with front end damage, in the area of Columbia Rd. and Ten Mile Rd. in Kuna.
When deputies attempted to initiate a traffic stop on the vehicle, it accelerated and failed to yield. During the pursuit, the Ford reached speeds in excess of 80 miles an hour and drove into oncoming lanes of travel multiple times.
Deputies successfully performed a PIT maneuver near Happy Valley Rd. and Locust Ln. in Nampa. The driver, 40-year-old Jesse Bacorn, was taken into custody. Bacorn was booked into the Canyon County Jail for {F} Driving Under the Influence and {F} Fleeing and Eluding.
