Judge David Manweiler began serving as Magistrate Judge in February 2006. He is currently assigned to an adult criminal calendar at the Ada Country Courthouse. From 2006-2016 he was the senior Juvenile Court Judge for Ada County.
Previously, Judge Manweiler was in private practice for 20 years, specializing in litigation of criminal and personal injury cases in State and Federal Court. He has taught as an adjunct professor at Boise State University in the Department of Criminal Justice and is currently an adjunct instructor at the University of Idaho College of Law. Judge Manweiler is also a retired Major in the Judge Advocate’s General Corps of the United States Army.
Judge Manweiler holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado at Boulder, cum laude and a Juris Doctor from the University of Idaho College of Law.
