Accessing Resources

Our community has many resources available but it may be challenging to find them.  The Bridge provides a single point-of-contact for youth and families who need help identifying and connecting to these resources, but you can also contact them directly.

A BIG thank you to the Idaho Commission for Libraries for their generous book donation!  Youth can pick a book to read when they are at The Bridge or take one home for their own library. You should see how excited the kids are when they know they get to keep it.

Thanks for the Support

The Treasure Valley YMCA has a ton of options to get youth involved in positive programs and activities but sometimes families do not have the financial ability to access these programs. A BIG thank you to the Tate Family Charitable Trust for gifting $5,000 to the YMCA for Bridge kids!  Now when we refer a youth to the Y and they cannot afford it, the cost of their class or membership can be covered and a YMCA youth coordinator will work with them to maximize the investment.  We are thrilled to kick off 2024 with this new partnership.

“I feel lucky when I go to the YMCA”

A mom texted us this special note and picture from her son whose YMCA membership was sponsored by the Tate Family Charitable Trust. The Y reports that he has been bouncing down the hallway and they are happy to have him!

We would like to thank the Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections for helping establish resource centers across Idaho.  We could not have set-up our facility without their grant award!  We would also like to thank the Ada County Board of Commissioners for providing personnel for youth prevention services, and our amazing governance board members and agencies for helping us get the word out.
