RE: | State v. Joshua Lundquist sentencing |
BOISE – A Boise man was sentenced Tuesday to prison for battering a man and leaving bruises and lacerations on the victim’s head and face.
Joshua Lundquist, 31, was arrested in September 2019 for felony aggravated battery with two enhancements – use of a deadly weapon in commission of a felony and persistent violator.
Lundquist pleaded guilty Tuesday to felony aggravated battery for striking and punching the victim, who was known to the defendant, in a parking lot. Mr. Lundquist’s remaining charges were dismissed as part of the plea deal.
Ada County District Judge Jonathan Medema sentenced Mr. Lundquist to 8 years of prison with 1.5 years to be served before being eligible for parole.
