BOISE – Eric Steiner, 43, pleaded guilty Thursday to the murder of his wife.
Mr. Steiner was arrested on March 5, 2019 and charged with first-degree murder with an enhancement for using a deadly weapon in the commission of a felony.

Fourth defendant in Boise foothills stabbing case sentenced
BOISE – The fourth and final defendant in a stabbing case from March 2019 has been sentenced to prison.
Justice Bowie, 21, was arrested in March 2019, along with three co-defendants for stabbing and beating a woman in the Boise foothills. The woman survived her injuries.
Eagle man pleads guilty to concealing evidence in mother’s death
BOISE – William Rhoton, 66, pleaded guilty Wednesday to concealing evidence in the death of his mother.
Mr. Rhoton was arrested and charged in June 2019 with several felonies, including failing to notify authorities of a death, concealing or altering evidence, grand theft by deception and forgery.
Man sentenced to prison for aggravated battery
BOISE – A Boise man was sentenced Tuesday to prison for battering a man and leaving bruises and lacerations on the victim’s head and face.
Joshua Lundquist, 31, was arrested in September 2019 for felony aggravated battery with two enhancements – use of a deadly weapon in commission of a felony and persistent violator.
Man sentenced for sexually assaulting woman at Meridian church
BOISE – A 52-year-old man was given a 20-year prison sentence, with five years fixed, for battery with the intent to commit rape.
Hyoungsuk Kim was arrested in October 2018 for attempted rape of a woman while at a Meridian church.
Boise man sentenced to prison for sexual exploitation, abuse of a child
BOISE – A Boise man was sentenced Wednesday to serve up to 85 years in prison for sexual abuse of a minor and sexual exploitation of a child.
Gunnar Ericsson, 52, was arrested on a warrant in September 2018 following a yearlong investigation by the Boise Police Department.
44-year-old man sentenced in domestic violence, persistent violator case
BOISE – A 44-year-old Garden City man was sentenced Wednesday to 20 years in prison with 10 years of those fixed, after being convicted of felony domestic battery with a persistent violator enhancement.
In June 2019, David Ray Cruse was charged with committing the crimes of felony attempted strangulation and felony domestic battery.

Jury convicts out-of-state man for 2014 rape
BOISE – A jury convicted a 58-year-old man Thursday of a rape that occurred nearly six years ago in Boise.
Reginald Burley, who was 53 at the time of the crime, was indicted by a grand jury for rape and first-degree kidnapping shortly after the crimes were reported.
Ada County man sentenced for June 2019 vehicular manslaughter death
BOISE – A 52-year-old man was sentenced to 20 days of jail and two years of supervised probation for misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter.
John R. Bowden appeared at the Ada County Courthouse Monday for a change of plea and sentencing hearing.
