2020 Women’s Suffrage Commemorative Sticker Contest

Sponsored by the Idaho Association of County Recorders and Clerks and the Idaho Women 100

The Idaho Association of County Recorders and Clerks and Idaho Women 100 are sponsoring a contest for the design of an “I Voted” sticker to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of Women’s Suffrage in 2020. The winning design will be featured on a commemorative sticker to be given to voters throughout the State of Idaho for all elections in 2020, including the Presidential Preference Primary in March, the May Primary Election, the November Presidential Election and any consolidated elections in 2020.

The Sticker Design Contest is open to Idaho residents. The contest will run through November 24, 2019 at 11:59 p.m. No late entries will be accepted.

How to Enter

To enter, complete the Sticker Design Contest Entry Form and upload the design file within the contest form. Multiple entries may be submitted, but a separate form must be completed for each entry. If you have questions, please contact Chelsea Carattini by email or phone, (208) 287-6898.

The Idaho Association of Counties (IAC), the Idaho Association of County Clerks and Recorders (IACRC) and the Idaho Women 100 do not claim ownership rights to your entry or entries.

By participating in this contest, participants (including a participant’s parent(s)/guardian(s) if a participant is under the age of eighteen(18)) agree to grant the IAC and IACRC a non-exclusive, full paid-up and royalty-free, license to use, modify, delete from, add to, publicly display, reproduce and translate your entry. By submitting your entry, you consent to the use of your design and your name in connection with the contest and all related marketing activities, in any media or format, in any and all locations, without any payment or further approval from you. You agree that nothing in these Official Rules grants you a right or license to use the IAC or IACRC name.

By submitting an entry, you acknowledge that your entry is your original artwork,

  1. does not infringe upon copyrights, trademarks, rights of privacy, publicity or other rights of any person or entity,
  2. does not or will not violate any applicable law, statute, ordinance, rule or regulation,
  3. does not feature the likeness of a private individual without that individual’s written consent for its use,
  4. does not trigger any reporting or royalty obligation to any third party.

Design entries should relate to voting and women’s suffrage.

  • Designs should fit a within a maximum space of 2 inches, and can use the following shapes: circle (2”x 2”), rounded square (2” x 2”), oval (horizontal, 2” x 1”) and rounded rectangle (horizontal, 2” x 1”) or any other shape that fits within these size constraints.
  • Designs should factor in a bleed of 0.125”
  • Electronic files should have a resolution of at least 300 dpi. All traditional, high resolution file formats will be accepted, including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop files.
  • Designs should use the CMYK color model
  • Text within the design should be converted to paths to ensure the integrity of the design

The Idaho Association of County Recorders and Clerks Election Committee will select the winning design from among the submitted entries. The IACRC will announce the winner on the Sticker Design Contest website by December 9, 2019. The winner will be contacted by email or phone provided on the entry form. The IACRC may choose more than one winner at its discretion.
