UPDATE: Man Killed Following Idaho Center Altercation Identified

Coroner Identifies Man Who Died Following Idaho Center Altercation

Coroner Owens identified 24-year-old Pedro A. Fernandez-Ramirez as the man who died after an altercation at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa on Saturday, June 9, 2018. Fernandez-Ramirez was pronounced dead at 10:35 am at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center. According to reports he was transported to the hospital from the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa following an altercation.

The cause of death was determined to be basal subarachnoid hemorrhage due to traumatic tear of the basilar artery during a physical altercation. The manner of death has been ruled a homicide. Toxicology revealed below the legal limit of alcohol.
