CORONER IDENTIFIES MAN INVOLVED IN BOISE SHOOTING

NAME: Dennis Mulqueen
DATE AND TIME OF PRONOUNCED DEATH: 04/21/2024 @ 12:36 a.m.
AGE: 65 years
BIOLOGICAL SEX: Male
PLACE OF DEATH: Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center; Boise, ID
RESIDENCE: Boise, Idaho
CAUSE OF DEATH: Gunshot wound of the chest
MANNER OF DEATH: Homicide
SUMMARY:  The Ada County Coroner’s Office has identified 65-year-old Dennis Mulqueen of Boise, Idaho, who was transported from the intersection of W. Dorian St. and S. Roosevelt St. in Boise, Idaho, to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center on 04/20/2024 after an altercation with law enforcement. Life saving measures were unsuccessful and Dennis Mulqueen was pronounced dead in the emergency department.  Further information pending investigation.
