CORONER IDENTIFIES PEDESTRIAN WHO WAS STRUCK BY VEHICLE IN EAGLE

DATE AND TIME OF PRONOUNCED DEATH: 11/25/2023 @ 08:50 p.m.
AGE: 39 years
BIOLOGICAL SEX: Female
PLACE OF DEATH: Saint Alphonsus Eagle Medical Center; Eagle, ID
RESIDENCE: Boise, Idaho
CAUSE OF DEATH: Multiple blunt force injuries
MANNER OF DEATH: Pending
SUMMARY:  At approximately 10:00 p.m. on 11/25/2023, the Ada County Coroner’s Office was dispatched to Saint Alphonsus Eagle Medical Center in Eagle, Idaho. 39-year-old Laura Maynez of Boise, Idaho, was pronounced dead in the emergency department after lifesaving measures were unsuccessful.  Laura Maynez was a pedestrian who was struck by a vehicle near the intersection of N. State Hwy. 55 and E. Beacon Light Rd. in Eagle, Idaho.  Further information pending investigation.

The investigation is being conducted by Ada County Sheriff’s Office.
