CORONER IDENTIFIES PEDESTRIAN STRUCK BY VEHICLE SATURDAY NIGHT

DATE AND TIME OF PRONOUNCED DEATH: 06/11/2023 @ 02:26 a.m.
AGE: 23 years
BIOLOGICAL SEX: Female
PLACE OF DEATH: Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center; Boise, ID
RESIDENCE: Homedale, Idaho
CAUSE OF DEATH: Blunt force injuries
MANNER OF DEATH: Accident
SUMMARY:  The Ada County Coroner’s Office has identified 23-year-old Jestine Burt of Homedale, Idaho.  Jestine Burt was a pedestrian who was transported by ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise after being struck by a vehicle near the intersection of Cloverdale and Ustick in Boise, Idaho, on 06/10/2023 at approximately 11:50 p.m.  Life saving measures were unsuccessful and Jestine Burt was pronounced dead in the operating room.

The investigation is being conducted by Boise City Police Department.
