Coroner Owens identified 58 year-old Sam Willie Jr. died from injuries sustained from a motor vehicle vs. pedestrian accident that occurred at the intersection of South Vista Avenue and west Targee Street in Boise on October 24, 2018. The cause of death is blunt force trauma due to a motor vehicle/pedestrian accident. The manner of death is an accident.
Toxicology is pending and results may take several weeks to return.
