CORONER IDENTIFIES EAGLE WOMAN STRUCK BY VEHICLE ON NEW YEARS

DATE AND TIME OF PRONOUNCED DEATH: 01/01/2024 @ 01:16 a.m.
AGE: 78 years
BIOLOGICAL SEX: Female
PLACE OF DEATH: Intersection of N. Can-Ada Rd & W. Chinden Blvd; Meridian, ID
RESIDENCE: Eagle, Idaho
CAUSE OF DEATH: Multiple blunt force injuries
MANNER OF DEATH: Accident
SUMMARY:  At approximately 12:20 a.m. on 01/01/2024, the Ada County Coroner’s Office was dispatched to the intersection of N. Can-Ada Rd & W. Chinden Blvd in Meridian, Idaho. 78-year-old Arlene Parrish of Eagle, Idaho, was pronounced dead at the scene after lifesaving measures were unsuccessful.  Arlene Parrish was the sole occupant of a vehicle that was struck by a separate vehicle.  Further information pending investigation.

The investigation is being conducted by Idaho State Police.
