CORONER IDENTIFIES DRIVER WHO DIED IN GOODING COUNTY MVA

NAME: Augustine Robledo, Jr.
DATE AND TIME OF PRONOUNCED DEATH: 10/21/2023 @ 06:41 a.m.
AGE: 27 years
BIOLOGICAL SEX: Male
PLACE OF DEATH: Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center; Boise, ID
RESIDENCE: Lubbock, Texas
CAUSE OF DEATH: Multiple blunt force injuries
MANNER OF DEATH: Accident
SUMMARY:  At approximately 06:52 a.m. on 10/21/2023, the Ada County Coroner’s Office was dispatched to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho. 27-year-old Augustine Robledo, Jr. of Lubbock, Texas, was pronounced dead after lifesaving measures were unsuccessful from injuries resulting from a single motor vehicle accident on eastbound I-84 in Gooding County on 10/21/2023.  Augustine Robledo, Jr. was the driver and only known occupant of the motor vehicle.  Further information pending investigation.

The investigation is being conducted by Idaho State Police.
