CORONER IDENTIFIES BOISE MAN WHO DIED IN MVA ON CLOVERDALE AND CHINDEN

DATE AND TIME OF PRONOUNCED DEATH: 10/19/2023 @ 03:35 a.m.
AGE: 54 years
BIOLOGICAL SEX: male
PLACE OF DEATH: Joplin Road, near intersection of Cloverdale and Chinden Roads; Boise, ID
RESIDENCE: Boise, Idaho
CAUSE OF DEATH: Multiple blunt force injuries
MANNER OF DEATH: Accident
SUMMARY:  At approximately 03:10 a.m. on 10/19/2023, the Ada County Coroner’s Office was dispatched to the intersection of Cloverdale and Chinden Roads in Boise, Idaho. 54-year-old Ian Stickler of Boise, Idaho, was pronounced dead at the scene after sustaining injuries involving a two-motor vehicle collision.  Ian Stickler was the driver and sole occupant.  Further information pending investigation.

The investigation is being conducted by Boise City Police Department.
