What We Offer

The Ada County Victim Services Center provides services 24/7 at no cost to victims of sexual assault, domestic violence/abuse, stalking, child abuse, elder abuse, and human trafficking. If you have questions or need services, please contact the center at 208-577-4400.

What to Expect

When you walk through the door of the Ada County Victim Services Center, you will first be met by professional, specially trained staff. You don’t have to have an appointment to come to the center, and you will be assisted in determining what services the center offers that may best suit your needs.

While at the center you can receive all the assistance you need at one time, from creating a safety plan with case managers, to receiving a forensic exam, crisis counseling, reporting to law enforcement, and many other services.

Services

Client and Court Advocates and our Victim Witness Coordinators can help you to complete a protection order form, and get it filed the same day. You can file a protection order at the Ada County Victim Services Center.

Abusive situations are often dangerous for victims. Our Client Advocates can help create a safety plan with clients that is unique to each situation, and can help you feel more prepared if a dangerous situation arises, or when you’re getting ready to leave a relationship.

Doctors and advanced practice providers at St. Luke’s CARES provide specialty trained, compassionate, and state of the art medical care to the child victims in our communities. Patients and their families can expect to access high quality medical care while accessing other crucial family support services just by walking in the front door of the Ada County Victim Services Center.

Specialized nurses from St. Luke’s and Saint Alphonsus Hospitals provide medical forensic exam 24/7 for adults, free of charge.

Ada County Prosecutor’s Office holds its Case Orientation and Resource Program (DVCORP) at Ada County Victim Services Center. This provides you with information on community resources immediately following the arrest of an offender, in order to address any needs you may have, as quickly as possible. You will also learn about the court process. This will better help you to navigate through your legal needs.

Participation in this program is voluntary. If you are unable to attend the Case Orientation and Resource program the day after the offender is arrested, you can choose to attend on a different day by contacting the Ada County Prosecutor’s Office (208-287-7700).

Case Managers with the WCA provide assistance to clients as they work toward overcoming various obstacles. Staff work one-on-one with clients to identify their strengths and barriers to develop individualized plans to help achieve their goals.

Boise Police, Garden City Police, Meridian Police and the Ada County Sheriff’s Office are all on site to allow for more streamlined reporting and investigation in to crimes of interpersonal violence.
