BOISE – Raul A. Cuevas, 32, was convicted of second-degree murder following a five-day jury trial.
Today, an Ada County jury found Mr. Cuevas guilty of killing 39-year-old Jesus Urrutia. Following
his conviction, the state moved to revoke Mr. Cuevas’ bond pending his sentencing. Mr. Cuevas
remains out of custody on bond.
Mr. Cuevas’ sentencing is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., July 23 before the Honorable Ada County
District Judge Jonathan Medema.
