BOISE – Anthony Perazzo, 52, will serve up to 30 years imprisonment for stabbing a patron at a Boise establishment.

The Honorable Ada County District Judge Jonathan Medema sentenced Mr. Perazzo to 30 years imprisonment, with 15 years fixed before being eligible for parole. The defendant was found guilty by a jury earlier this year for aggravated battery with an enhancement for using a deadly weapon in the commission of a crime.

In August 2023, Mr. Perazzo was working as a bouncer at a Boise establishment on Vista Avenue. The defendant picked a fight with a patron of that establishment, and stabbed the male victim multiple times in the abdomen before fleeing. The victim ultimately survived his injuries. The attack was captured on video surveillance.

“We appreciate the jurors’ time and attention in this case, the Boise Police Department’s work on this investigation, and the judge’s sentencing decision, which will ensure the community is made safer,” said Ada County Prosecutor Jan Bennetts.
