BOISE – David Lawrence Randall, 56, of Boise was arraigned in the Ada County Courthouse Wednesday afternoon.
Randall is charged with one count of first-degree murder for the death of 56-year-old Darla Fletcher.
Magistrate Judge Russell Comstock granted Ada County Deputy Prosecutor John Dinger’s request to hold Randall without bond.
Randall’s next court appearance is set for 8:30 a.m. Dec. 30, in the Ada County Courthouse.
Idaho law provides that the punishment for a conviction of first-degree murder is death or life imprisonment with a minimum of no less than 10 years imprisonment.
The prosecutor’s office has not determined whether or not the death penalty will be sought in this case.
Randall is presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
