This morning Reynaldo Lucas Sanchez pled guilty to the crime of First Degree Murder in connection with the death of his son, Adrien Sanchez. Adrien, who was almost three months old at the time of his death, died on December 17, 2011. Sanchez was charged with First Degree Murder following an extensive and thorough investigation by the Ada County Sheriff’s Office. The plea agreement in the case, which is not binding on the sentencing court, calls for an indeterminate life sentence with twenty (20) years fixed. Sanchez will be sentenced on April 9, 2013 by the Honorable Judge Timothy Hansen.
