Bruce Marchant’s request for a writ of habeas corpus was denied today by a New York Supreme Court Judge, clearing the way for his extradition to Idaho to face charges for the Murder, Kidnap, and Rape of Sierra Bush. The extradition process that will ultimately allow for delivery of Mr. Marchant to the State of Idaho will take place in the coming weeks. Bruce Marchant is presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
