BOISE – A Boise man was convicted Thursday of sexual crimes against a minor following a four day
jury trial.
Darin Ogden, 46, was arrested in September 2018 for charges of lewd conduct, sexual battery with
a minor and production of sexually exploitative material of a child.
A jury on Thursday found Ogden guilty of sexual battery with a minor aged 16 or 17 and causing,
inducing or permitting a child to be used for child sexually exploitative material.
Mr. Ogden’s sentencing is set for 1:30 p.m., May 19 before Ada County District Judge Michael J.
Reardon.
Idaho code allows a maximum sentence of life imprisonment for sexual battery with a minor aged
16 or 17 and a maximum sentence of 30 years imprisonment for sexual exploitation of a child.
