On April 18, 2013, 35 year-old Courtney Reschke pled guilty to six felony counts of Lewd Conduct with a Minor Child under the age of 16, in violation of I.C. 18-1508, each carrying a potential life sentence. The plea requires that Ms. Reschke register as a sex offender for life. In addition, the defendant entered Alford pleas to seven misdemeanor counts of Dispensing Alcohol to A Minor in violation of I.C. 23-603.
In return for her guilty pleas, the State agreed to dismiss the remaining charges, with the option to argue the dismissed charges as aggravating circumstances at sentencing which is set for June 20th at 3:00 in front of Judge Wilper. The State and Defense are not bound to any agreement as to a sentence recommendation.
