BOISE – Kevin Wheeler, 53, faces multiple life sentences in prison following his conviction Thursday on all seven of his felony charges.
Mr. Wheeler was arrested in January 2020 on a warrant for sexually abusing a child from 2007 to 2016. Following a three-day jury trial, the jury found the defendant guilty of five counts of lewd conduct with a minor under 16, and two counts of sexual abuse of a minor under 16.
Mr. Wheeler’s sentencing is set for June 10 before Ada County District Judge Steven Hippler.
