Georgia man pleads guilty to aggravated battery, burglary following November attack

RE: State v. Craig Falk – Guilty Plea

BOISE – Craig R. Falk, 65, pleaded guilty Friday to two felony charges following an attack on a woman at her Hidden Springs house.

Mr. Falk was arrested Nov. 29, 2019 when he entered the garage of his brother’s ex-wife and attacked her. He was apprehended by law enforcement shortly after the attack and arrested and charged with felony aggravated battery with an enhancement for using a deadly weapon and burglary for entering the garage and intending to batter the victim.

Mr. Falk’s sentencing is set for 9 a.m. August 27 before Ada County District Judge Jason Scott.

The defendant is facing up to 40 years in prison. The maximum sentence for aggravated battery with an enhancement is 30 years imprisonment. The maximum sentence of burglary is up to 10 years imprisonment.
