Coroner Owens has identified Roberto Angel Gomez, age 16, of Nampa, Idaho as the homicide victim. The cause of death was multiple gunshot wounds. The manner of death is homicide.
According to reports the victim was transported to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise the evening of September 25, 2018, after an incident that occurred near 11th Avenue North and Powell Avenue in Nampa. The victim was pronounced dead at Saint Alphonsus shortly thereafter.
This incident is currently under investigation by the Nampa Police Department.
