CORONER IDENTIFIES BOISE MAN IN MOTOR VEHICLE COLLISION ON EMERALD ST

PLACE OF DEATH: Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center; Boise, ID
RESIDENCE: Boise, Idaho
CAUSE OF DEATH: Complications of blunt force injuries
MANNER OF DEATH: Accident
SUMMARY:  At approximately 04:10 p.m. on 06/22/2024, the Ada County Coroner’s Office was dispatched to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho. 79-year-old Alva Haynes of Boise, Idaho, was pronounced dead in the hospital after lifesaving measures were unsuccessful following injuries sustained in a two-vehicle motor vehicle collision.   Alva Haynes was a driver and sole occupant of his vehicle.  The collision occurred near the 6000 block of W. Emerald St. in Boise, Idaho, at approximately 09:34 p.m. on 06/09/2024.  Further information pending investigation.

The investigation is being conducted by Boise City Police Department.
