CORONER IDENTIFIES BOISE MOTORCYCLIST IN COLLISION ON MILWAUKEE ST

DATE AND TIME OF PRONOUNCED DEATH: 06/22/2024 @ 10:18 a.m.
AGE: 21 years
BIOLOGICAL SEX: Male
PLACE OF DEATH: Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center; Boise, ID
RESIDENCE: Boise, Idaho
CAUSE OF DEATH: Blunt trauma of head
MANNER OF DEATH: Accident
SUMMARY:  At approximately 11:11 a.m. on 06/22/2024, the Ada County Coroner’s Office was dispatched to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho. 21-year-old Charles Gentry of Boise, Idaho, was pronounced dead after lifesaving measures were unsuccessful from injuries sustained in a motorcycle vs. motor vehicle collision.  Charles Gentry was the driver and sole occupant of the motorcycle.  The collision occurred near the intersection of W. Preece Dr. and N. Milwaukee St. in Boise, Idaho, on 06/20/2024 at approximately 10:36 p.m.  Further information pending investigation.

The investigation is being conducted by Boise City Police Department.
