Second West Nile Virus Positive Test From Trap in Star

Additional mosquito traps have tested positive as West Nile virus pools in Ada County. The West Nile virus positive tests came from traps found at the following times and places:

  • September 10th: WNV was confirmed for the second time at a trap near the intersection of North Devon Place and West Bray Creek Street, in Star. The first positive test from a trap at this site in 2019 was found on September 3rd.
  • September 12th: near the intersection of North Glenwood Street & West Marigold Street, in Garden City.
