Where can I park?

What time do I check in?

Community Transition Center:

  • Community Transition program check-in time is typically 8pm unless otherwise arranged
  • Scheduled Sentence program check in is 7:45 am or 8:45 am unless otherwise arranged

Sheriff’s Labor Detail:

  • Headcount and crew assignments begin at 7:30 a.m. across the street from the Community Transition Center, with the exception of holidays.
  • Participants return by 4:00 pm and are allowed to go home to spend the night with their families.

All other programs, start and end times are arranged at the participants initial meeting.

Can I serve my Ada County court ordered time in a different county?

Yes, participants can serve time on Ada County charges in another county when ordered by a judge.

Eligibility requirements for the Out of County option

  • The Ada County Court has authorized the judgment to be serve in another county
  • The receiving county reserves the right to accept or deny an out of county order
  • The receiving county must have a program and must have available space to take the defendant

 

Can I serve my time in Ada County if my order is from a different county/state?

The Ada County Sheriff’s Office reserves the right to accept or deny an out of county person wishing to serve their sentence in Ada County. Eligibility to serve an out of county sentence in Ada County requires the sentencing court to authorize the judgement and the Ada County Sheriff’s Office has space available to accommodate the defendant.

How do I apply for a refund?

Alternative Sentencing reviews all refund requests and determines eligibility. Refund requests may take up to 30 days to process. If you would like to request a refund, please complete the online form below.
