The Ada County Work Search program is designed to offer eligible participants the opportunity to stay at the Community Transition Center while searching for employment. Participants receive enhanced case management services and related employment classes. Participants are allowed to go into the community to submit applications and attend job interviews. Participants may be required to attend Workforce Readiness courses. When they achieve verified employment, the participants will be moved over to the Work Release program, where they will complete their remaining jail days.
Eligibility requirements for the Work Search Program
- Participants must be court-ordered to “All Options” or “Work Search/Work Release”
- Participants must be unemployed
- Participants are required to be on electronic monitoring during the entirety of this program
