The Community Transition Center programs are currently suspended indefinitely as the Ada County Sheriff’s Office is helping to combat the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus. Anyone with questions should call 208 577-3460.
The Community Transition Center is a 108 bed, non-custodial facility that houses participants from the Work Release, Work Search, Community Transition and Scheduled Sentence programs. It is equipped with the following amenities:
- Laundry facility
- Computer lab
- Classrooms
- Individual bed and storage locker
- Day use lockers for work and other items
- Kitchen with 3 meals a day provided
- Living area to include TV, seating, tables, books and games
- Bathrooms and showers
