Kuna Police investigate New Year’s stabbing at Cowgirls nightclub

Police are looking for whoever stabbed a man on the dance floor of popular Kuna area nightspot Cowgirls early Jan. 1.
Kuna Police were called to Cowgirls just after 1 a.m. on Jan. 1. A man had just stumbled out of the crowd and told bouncers he was hurt. He was bleeding from a stab wound to his thigh.
The man told police he did not know who did it or exactly how it happened. Witnesses later told police the man got into a few different altercations with other bar patrons earlier in the night but no one saw the stabbing occur or who might have done it.
The bar was packed with people at the time. Investigators are reviewing video surveillance and and have done several interviews with bar patrons but have not yet identified a suspect.
The man was transported to a local hospital, where he was treated and released.
Kuna police are asking anyone with information to send an email to Let. Jared Scott at [email protected]  or call Ada County Dispatch at (208) 377-6790.
