BOISE – On Wednesday, March 16, Erik Osuna pled guilty to the first-degree murder of his nine-year-old son.
Erik Osuna’s sentencing is set to begin June 9, 2022 and will continue on a separate date before Honorable Ada County District Judge Steven Hippler.
Co-defendant, Monique Osuna, the stepmother of the victim, pled guilty Feb. 16, 2022 to first-degree murder. Monique Osuna’s sentencing is set to last two days, starting June 9, 2022 before Judge Hippler.
As part of both defendants’ plea agreements, the death penalty is not being sought. The maximum sentence for First Degree Murder is life in prison.
