RE: State v. Aaron Williams – Sentencing

BOISE – On Friday, 32-year-old Aaron Williams was sentenced to serve up to life in prison for the

Honorable Ada County District Judge Derrick O’Neill sentenced Mr. Williams to up to life in prison,
with 25 years fixed before being eligible for parole. He also ordered the defendant to pay $11,553 in
restitution to the victim’s family.

“I extend my deepest condolences to the victim’s family in this case,” said Ada County Prosecutor Jan
Bennetts. “My office takes child abuse cases very seriously, and I’m grateful for the work of my team
and the Garden City Police Department for their thorough investigation and dedication to this case,
as it helped my office ensure justice was served.”
